Neil,

Thanks for stopping by the site - it's great hearing from you.

I understand what you are saying about the elements of design in woodworking. I think that it is an exciting area that deserves more attention. I've enjoyed your blog and I will continue to follow it. You are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to various designers and their work. Stay with it!

Please continue to stop by and comment on what you see here.

Hi Mark:

It's lunchtime and I was over at Lumberjocks getting ready to post about Design, and here I am at your site clicking off your LJ post.

I'm like you and totally enjoy the creative aspect of woodworking. Sometimes I'm not sure that we are doing our best work in our basements, barns, and garages because we don't have enough individuals talking design. So glad you are taking this tack.

Thanks for the link, I'm really bad about taking the time to make a blog roll but heck there's only 30 hrs in a day. It's a task I need to do.

    Again, great topic.........keep'em coming........Neil

Kaleo,

Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words.

I've enjoyed reading about your journey through woodworking education at The Australian School of Fine Furniture. I admire the step you took to attend school there. I wish you all of the success in the world on your efforts! Keep up the good work and please continue to stop by and comment.

I love watching your creations evolve from miscellaneous pieces of wood, to beautiful, warm and functional pieces of furniture that will become heirlooms for our family. Keep up the good work and I feel the best is yet to come!
